Revelation
The world does not stop for you; it never has nor will it ever try to solely satisfy you. Belief is a system in which humans have been able to be optimistic without any explanation, it’s called faith. Faith in a higher being I suppose. I do not believe in a certain power and consider myself very distant from faith, but I so encourage having faith. My revelation was as follows: Humans are weak, we have built walls around us that comfort us without there being any sense of security or legitimacy in these “walls” that we build. But to be completely honest, these flaws and the things that we do to keep ourselves from going mad are what defines us as humans. Certainty is not something we are fond of, well it is but isn’t at the same time. We contradict everything we “believe” in fundamentally with some sort of spiritual attachment. Human beings are weird and I wish I could comprehend all of the marvels that our brains cause us to endure.
